All those with supervisory responsibilities under LAA contracts, or those taking the role on for the first time.
Designed To
Help you meet a key component in securing and then effectively operating your legal aid contract and meeting the LAA’s supervisor standards. The course specifically meets Section 2(ii) (Generic Supervisor Requirements) of the LAA’s supervisor standards.

- The LAA’s requirements to be accepted as a supervisor
- How to fill in supervisor forms – with practical help
- What the LAA’s crime and civil contracts require supervisors to do
- Comply with the supervision requirements in the current crime and civil contracts
- How to use file review to protect your organisation from audits
- Effective performance management techniques
- Feedback and communication skills
- How to keep up to date with LAA changes
