The Public Interest Law Centre is recruiting a Gentrification Project Lead/Paralegal/Solicitor This is a unique opportunity for a community organiser with legal experience or a legal professional keen to develop community organising skills. You’ll work at the intersection of law, campaigning, and community-led action, supporting communities resisting gentrification and displacement across the UK.

PILC exists to challenge systemic injustice through legal representation, strategic litigation, research and legal education. They specialise in public law, actions against public authorities and public inquiries, bringing cases to court for individuals and grassroots groups who have been treated unfairly. Shelter is recruiting a Solicitor in London. You will ensure you deliver high quality legal services through casework and ensuring Legal aid contract requirements and performance targets are met. You will be able to identify test case opportunities to address systemic bad practice and so achieve change for a greater number of people and will work closely with the Managing Solicitor and the Hub.

ATLEU is recruiting a housing lawyer. This is an exciting role and will suit someone who enjoys using the law creatively and working collaboratively and is looking to apply their housing knowledge in a senior role in a specialist environment. In this role you will contribute to the development of ATLEU’s work securing support and safe and appropriate accommodation for survivors of trafficking. This role offers opportunities to do traditional housing law and public law cases related to accommodation and support, alongside the opportunity to do public law cases beyond the housing remit if you are interested in this.

ATLEU is the only UK charity that provides specialist, holistic legal advice to survivors of trafficking and slavery.

Wilson Solicitors are recruiting individuals committed to building a career in immigration and asylum law. For the Caseworker role you will need to be accredited under the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Accreditation scheme at any level but ideally at Level 2 Senior Casework level. For the Trainee Solicitor role you will need to have (a) passed the LPC or be studying for it part-time, or (b) passed SQE1; and (c) successfully complete a 6-month probationary period with them before the Training Contract starts.
