PILC is looking for two new Trustees to join their Board and help shape the future of PILC. As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in ensuring PILC remains true to its charitable purpose while supporting its long-term sustainability and impact. They are committed to building a Board that is as inclusive as possible and representative of the communities they work alongside. They welcome applications from people with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. Lived experience relevant to their work is particularly valued.
While they encourage applications from anyone who shares their values and can contribute strategically, they are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with expertise in:
- Law (particularly within the non-profit or charity sector)
- Human Resources
- Finance
The Public Interest Law Centre is a team of experienced lawyers committed to fighting for social change. They challenge unlawful state practice and systemic injustice through legal representation, strategic litigation, research and legal education.
