Asylum Aid is recruiting a practising solicitor with substantial experience of litigation. This is a maternity cover for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension.
For over thirty years, Asylum Aid has been providing legal representation to some of the most vulnerable people seeking asylum. They have built an expert service, delivering vital and life-saving services in some of the most complex legal cases, with a particular speciality working with unaccompanied children, survivors of trafficking, torture or other forms of human cruelty, and stateless people. Their vision is that all those in need of protection from persecution and other forms of human cruelty in the UK can obtain it, and are treated fairly and with dignity.

Shelter Cymru is looking for a remote housing law caseworker. The post holder will provide advice and a full end-to-end casework service via pre-booked telephone appointments to people across Wales, depending on where the need is at the time. The post will help to support the regional Community Housing Advice Service teams at times of reduced capacity (for example, due to staff vacancies) or due to excessive demand.

ATLEU is looking for a Public Lawyer LINK
ATLEU is recruiting a Public Lawyer for a 12-month post, based in either their London or Sheffield office.This is a maternity cover role for 12 months, working 21 hours a week. You will have at least two years PQE and be an authorised litigator. This role will let you take on a small caseload of interesting public law casework, working with survivors of trafficking. You will be working alongside two paralegals, one public law and immigration solicitor who is their Head of Unit and Strategic Litigation Lead, and a housing solicitor with a focus on migrant support public law cases.
ATLEU is the only UK charity that provides specialist, holistic legal advice to survivors of trafficking and slavery.
