Gold Jennings is looking for a trainee solicitor or paralegal to join their Education and Children’s Rights team. The successful candidate will complete at least 1 year of work supporting their solicitors in the Education and Children’s Rights team with the potential for rotation to other departments within the firm thereafter depending on needs of the firm. The work is varied and includes communicating regularly with clients; legal research, assisting with case preparation, preparing legal aid funding applications; attending client meetings, conferences and court hearings; preparing witness evidence; drafting documents such as instructions to counsel and correspondence; and providing billing assistance.
