Shelter Cymru is looking for a remote housing law caseworker. The post holder will provide advice and a full end-to-end casework service via pre-booked telephone appointments to people across Wales, depending on where the need is at the time. The post will help to support the regional Community Housing Advice Service teams at times of reduced capacity (for example, due to staff vacancies) or due to excessive demand.
Shelter Cymru exists to defend the right to a safe home in Wales. They help thousands of people each year across Wales who are affected by the housing emergency by offering free, confidential and independent advice. When necessary they constructively challenge on behalf of people to ensure they are properly assisted and to improve practice and learning.
