The 2023 programme ran from 10 January – 13 July 203 and takes around 3 days a month to complete. The MLP was delivered through a mix of structured Zoom group sessions and online modules you can complete when it suits you.
This is the most comprehensive management and leadership training programme for the non-profit specialist advice sector, developed by Matthew Howgate and Vicky Ling following extensive research with practitioners.
The course is aimed at current or likely future managers from non-profit specialist advice agencies that do end to end casework (Citizens Advice, Law Centres, specialist Advice UK and other independent advice agencies). It is available to participants from England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland.
Applications must be made by the agency nominating the participant. As a result of support from the AB Charitable Trust and the Legal Education Foundation we offered 24 fully paid free places on the programme.
